7 tips for a serene salon

D-7 and the stress starts to mount... a classic in the event industry! But how do you avoid this last-minute tension?

We've put together a list of a few things to check, so you can approach your next trade show with confidence.

💡 So, have you thought about :

Tips n°1 : An extension cord or an extra socket?

An extension cord or an extra socket? They can "save" your living room. Teams are often unable to charge their phone or plug in their coffee machine and computer at the same time. Simple but effective!

Tips n°2 : Water

Water... it may seem obvious, but we don't always think about it. And not only do you need water for yourself, your team and your visitors, you also need water for the coffee machine, so that you don't have to go to the toilet to charge your Nespresso 😉.

Tip no. 3: Check assembly and dismantling times

Check set-up and dismantling times: all these times are specified in the technical guide, depending on the exhibition hall and/or stand type. There's no point getting up in the middle of the night if you can't set up until 8am!

Tip 4: Anticipate parking constraints

Anticipate parking constraints: depending on the exhibition site, you should always check which parking lot is reserved for exhibitors (which will not necessarily be the same as the suppliers' car park, for example), and also whether you need to complete a document to gain access to this parking lot. This can save you waiting behind a barrier on the big day!

Tips n°5 : A reserve

A storeroom: your team will always be happy to find a space where they can keep their coats, computers and a stock of leaflets, for example. You can also "hide" your refrigerator, for example. And the icing on the cake is that your storeroom is as customizable as your entire stand!

Tips n°6 : Cleaning

Cleaning: you want your stand to be spotless from start to finish? Once again, you need to think ahead! We advise you to order a cleaning service in advance. Whether it's cleaning the day before the show or daily cleaning, you'll have a spotless stand!

Tip 7: Check electrical power

Check the electrical power: we recommend that you check whether the power of the electrical box on your stand is sufficient for your equipment. And also check whether you need a site cabinet for set-up or dismantling.

By following these simple but essential tips, you'll be able to approach your next show with confidence and efficiency, and avoid last-minute unforeseen events. Get ready now!
